HOCKEY CAMPS

Coached by England Masters World Cup Captain 2026, Suzy Clapp. Our hockey camps are open to players of a wide range of ages, with all abilities welcome. These camps are designed for players to focus, develop and learn new technical skills, as well have exposure to a range of game play and tactical understanding. We try to create a positive, fun and nurturing environment to enable the players to gain in confidence both on and off the pitch.

Clapp Tap Sport one day hockey camp, coached by England Masters players, Suzy Clapp and Jemma Jones, both selected as captains of the 2026 World Cup.

An opportunity to develop technical areas such as:

- Defending

- Goal Scoring

- Elimination Skills

- Passing & Receiving

Followed by SSG scenarios and game play in the afternoon.

Covering technical work on Forehand & Backhand hitting, deflections, backspace, creating space around the p.spot, shuffles and lots of competitive fun!

- Elimination skills

- Passing range to include forehand, backhand, disguise, aerial

- Defending

- Overloading - creating 2v1, 3v2

- Penalty Corners - injection, trap, drag flick - positional on defence corners

- Penalty shuffles

- Small sided games, tournament play and more!

Specialist Goalkeeper Camp, Led by England Masters Keeper Amanda Billington!

19th & 20th August -

10.00-12.30pm

£50 for one day or £90 for both days

With option to stay on and join outfield camp (till 4pm on both dates)

Covering:

- Correct positioning

- Breakdown the basics of all save types: Clearing, Low Block, Hybrid, Smother, Diving, Logging, Getting up, Hand work

- Routines to support mental toughness

- Goalkeeper warm up routines

- Position specific fitness

- Shuffles
