HOCKEY CAMPS
Coached by England Masters World Cup Captain 2026, Suzy Clapp. Our hockey camps are open to players of a wide range of ages, with all abilities welcome. These camps are designed for players to focus, develop and learn new technical skills, as well have exposure to a range of game play and tactical understanding. We try to create a positive, fun and nurturing environment to enable the players to gain in confidence both on and off the pitch.

Two day Camp led by Alec Stevens.
Alec Stevens is part of the coaching team at ClappTapSport and has coached at numerous camps. He is an experienced hockey coach at Dulwich and Hurst College, reaching numerous regional and national finals with his teams. He is a high level performer at club level and inspires many players.

Southdown Sports Club, Lewes
Covering:
- Elimination skills including 3D
- Passing and receiving to include - push, slap, forehand and backhand hitting, aerials
- Creating overloads with 2v1, 3v2, 4v3
- Goalscoring to include tomahawk, backspace, deflection, shuffles & movement in and around the circle
- Defending - shave, block and jab tackle, marking
- Penalty Corner Attack - drag flicking, injecting and trapping
- Small sided games
- Tournament play
Unfortunately, head coach Suzy Clapp will not be leading this camp, but it is in very capable hands!
